REAL MADRID CLUB DE FÚTBOL
-Founded: 6 March 1902
-9 European Cups (Last one: 2002); 32 Spanish Leagues (Last one: 2012)
-Biggest rival: FC Barcelona
-Awarded with the recognition of FIFA Club of the 20th century on 23 December 2000.

This is my first personalized shirt, and it couldn't be of any other team than Real Madrid. I didn't choose 12 for any special reason. I think it's the most expensive kit which I have in the collection, adding the customization to the shirt. Cool shirt, though.

2011 was the last year in Mallorca for Pierre Webó.

REAL CLUB DEPORTIVO MALLORCA
-Founded: 5 March 1916
-1 Copa del Rey (2003)
-Biggest rival: CD Atlético Baleares (Segunda División B)
-Samuel Eto'o is Mallorca's top scorer in La Liga.

I bought it during my holidays in Mallorca last year. I think this is a fan edition, because the one which the players wore during the matches had a commemorative patch for the first promotion to La Liga, and the crest was embroidered. Anyway, in my opinion Macron is one of the best brands on the market at the moment.

-Founded: 2 March 1906
-1 Spanish League (2000)

-Biggest rival: Celta de Vigo

-Roy Makaay won the European Golden Boot in 2003 while he was playing for Deportivo.

It was hard to find a Deportivo shirt out of La Coruña. I bought it in the beautiful city of Santiago de Compostela, for about 40€. It is my first long sleeved shirt.

SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA
-Founded: 28 February 1904
-32 Portuguese Leagues (Last one: 2010)
-Biggest rival(s): FC Porto and Sporting CP
-Holds the Guinness World Record for the football club in the world with most members.

This is my first Portuguese club shirt. I bought it at Lisbon for about 40€. Reminds me of a large piece of golden aluminium foil, althought I like it a lot, it's very original. But don't know why Adidas is placing Benfica's crest on that strange white shape.

My football shirt collection

When I was about six years old, my dad bought me my first Real Madrid shirt, with a big number 3 and Roberto Carlos at the back. They occasionally gave me a new Real Madrid shirt for my birthday, and years later my dad brought me a pair of PSG shirts from Paris. Since that moment, I buy shirts when I travel somewhere or I entrust them to my family and friends: Mallorca, UNAM Pumas, NY Red Bulls, Benfica...
I have no specific goal in terms of the collection, only to put together as many shirts as possible without any specific criteria.
I have to apologize for the spelling mistakes that I you may find in the blog entries, because English isn't my native language. Hope you like the blog, comments would be cool, and if you have any question you can mail me at guillermo.sv@mail.com.
